METRIC: Video Microscope Software

Easy to use!

Metric BE software is intended solely for displaying and saving images and generating crosshairs for positioning. With the Doublecheck function, two live images with crosshairs can be automatically launched side-by-side when two cameras are used. For measurement functions, our KITEC software is required and should be used instead.

By using our USB 2.0 camera, the software can be installed on as many computers as desired. METRIC is activated regardless of where the camera is connected. On one hand, this reduces the need for cumbersome USB dongles, and it is extremely practical for mobile systems such as the Cellcheck series, given that anyone who wants to share a microscope already has the program installed on their computer. A dongel is required if the program is to be used with a frame grabber card and an analog camera instead of a USB 2.0 camera (see Dongle)

METRIC can be switched between twenty-five different languages, a feature that has led to its use worldwide. This is not only of interest to international customers. In large companies with staff from many different nations, software training becomes much simpler.

Updates for METRIC software are generally free. With the accompanying serial number, the user is immediately entitled to the correct version in our download area. This saves on contract update requirements and ensures that users can always keep their systems up to date. Of course, we cannot forget phone support: Our number is found in the Metric header field.
